Add the soaked saffron and water to the rice, and the remaining cup of boiling water, then immediately cover the pot and reduce the heat.
Leave the saffron rice to cook on low heat for approximately 20 minutes until it is cooked and completely absorbs the water, taking care not to lift the lid during this period.
After the specified time has passed, remove the pot from the heat, and stir the saffron rice using a fork until it blooms.
